Fiskesommer i Gaula (Fly fishing summer on the River Gaula)
Join me on a fishing trip on my dream river – the River Gaula.

I have fished this river for many years, and for a long time I have dreamt of starting fishing on the opening night far down the river, and then to follow the salmon on its journey up through the river valley. It took many years before this dream became a reality. I had worked in the industry for a long time, and I already had a DVD on salmon fishing using single-handed rods under my belt. In the period after the first DVD I had the idea of making this journey with a film crew, thus after lots of planning and meetings I could finally look forward to my dream journey.
In the DVD I bring with me guest fishermen, each of whom are skilled fishermen in their own ways during different river conditions. I also meet some of the profiles of the river, providing us with good advice. You will see other fishermen fight the large, silvery Gaula salmon. I offer much advice on fly fishing and fly casting on my journey up through the river valley. The river’s character is constantly changing as we move upstream, so do the conditions, thus we will have many exciting challenges to overcome in order to catch “Gaula’s silver’.
